Sanford Gold is the firm's lead medical malpractice trial attorney. He has successfully defended a wide range of physicians, and has developed a particular sub-specialty in the field of ophthalmology. He regularly serves as lead counsel for the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Mr. Gold published Anatomy of a Lawsuit, a guide for physicians through each step of the litigation process. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Cornell School of Law.
Mr. Gold lives in Westchester, New York with his wife Janet, an attorney and the Editor of Physicians Medical Law Letter, a national publication exclusively for physicians, to which Sandy has contributed a series of articles. Their
daughter Emily is a Professor of Law at Pace University School of
Law, and their son Jeffrey, is a sportswriter. |
