Arthur Cohen is an AV rated trial partner who handles complex medical malpractice cases and is the firm's lead trial attorney in our toxic tort litigation. His practice focuses on the management and trial of medical mal and asbestos cases. Mr. Cohen has lectured to insurance companies with regard to file handling and trial strategy in the areas of medical malpractice and toxic torts. Mr. Cohen has been qualified as an expert witness in the field of toxic tort/mass tort defense. Mr. Cohen also serves as the firm's President.
He obtained his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. After a distinguished record as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County for four years, he joined Gordon & Silber in 1979.
Mr. Cohen lives in Westchester, New York with his wife Ellen, a physician. They have three adult children, Jessica, Lindsay and Devin.
