Lichtenstein recently wrote an article that was published in the New York Law Journal on July 31, 2012 that was entitled "Beyond Paternity: Future of Genetic Testing in Personal Injury Litigation." It explores the potential use of DNA testing to defend claims of future damages by limiting claims of future work and life expectancy as well as the possibility of using it to challenge medical causation.
